Lughnasadh/Lammas is one of the 8 Sabbats on the Pagan wheel of the year, which marks the cycles of the seasons. The festival falls roughly halfway between the Summer Solstice & Autumn Equinox & is usually celebrated on the 1st-2nd of August.
Lughnasadh/Lammas signifies the beginning of the harvest season & the Earth’s bounty. It’s a time to give thanks for the abundance of the Earth & the blessings of the season.
