Imbolc (pronounced Im-blk) is one of the 8 Sabbats in the Wheel of the Year & is traditionally celebrated around 1st/2nd February (roughly midway between the Winter Solstice & the Spring Equinox). Imbolc is an ancient Celtic seasonal festival that marks the beginning of Spring & the gradual return of light after Winter. The word translates to ‘in the belly’; referring to pregnant ewes & the first signs of new life stirring beneath the Earth. Imbolc is traditionally associated with renewal, purification, fertility & new beginnings.
Our Intention bottles are hand made & created with love & intention. Includes carefully selected ingredients (crystal chips, herbs/flowers & essential oils), to correspond with this particular Sabbat. The bottle is sealed with corresponding coloured twine & wax & finished off with a Tree of Life charm.
